Bio
The group is comprised of Jewish sex-icon, Evan “Evie” Gillis, axe wielding, smash brothers, Albie Landry and Myke-V, and drummer Austin “Aus Boss” Bryant, and Jeff “J-Fresh” Ferro, on the lows. Your city’s best barber couldn’t give you a line-up this good! Established in 2006, the BTS boys have been working diligently to spread the love from the heart of Boston, to the rest of the world, one crowd at a time. They started with the release of their debut album, “Go Easy, It’s My First…”(September, 2009) on the band’s own label, Dirty White Sneaker Productions. The official release party was held in front of a sell-out crowd at the famous Middle East Club in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with guest appearances by other Dirty White Sneaker artists and DJ’s. BTS has continued to promote the album this passed year by playing a series of college and club shows around their beloved northeast, filming a super hot music video for their single "Two in the Morning" , hooking up with AMP magazine for an album review and interview in their June 2010 issue and most recently a feature on the E! channel for their newest and hottest reality show "The Spin Crowd"! The album kicks off with the pop-rock anthem, “December,” followed by, “Two In the Morning,” the pre-Twilight, banger about a drunken vampire hook-up. Completing the release is, the dance-rock single, “Cold Feet,” leaving hi-tops melting and Ugg boots to catch fire. Not to mention, the hip-hop glazed single, “Pistols.” “To me, Pistols, is best described as an arm wrestling match between Clint Eastwood and Dr. Dre,” laughs guitarist, Myke-V. While recent artists have been mashing different styles unsuccessfully, BTS manages to blend rock, dance, and hip-hop in a more tasteful, subtle manner. “Being a drummer prior to BTS, I can’t get my mind off of the beat,” says, front man, Gillis. “We made a point to put a wide variety of feels on the first album to give our fans a preview of what we’re capable of.” Not only are the BTS boys pushing their current work; they’re also starting the writing process for their next EP, slated for Spring of this year. “We never stop,” gleams Austin, “We love the new album and are even more excited about what’s to come.” Beneath the Sheets will salute their guts to give each deserving fan their own special piece of the Agro Crag in 2010. “This is our year and we’re gonna rock it…hard.” -
