  • Bio

.. .. .. Benedict Arnold started off as a live instrumental group in 2005, playing a range of genres from jazz to hip-hop. Their sound was completed when musicians Sage Atwood (Guitar), Jesse Brayman (Drums), Sean Cahalin (Bass), and Dan Bolton (Keys) met Buxton Shippy, an MC from Fitchburg, MA. His expressive flow balanced out the musical ideas already in place, and helped to establish the group as something new in the local music scene. After two years on the grind, the groundwork was laid for their new album "The Night Cafe." Gaining notoriety for their dynamic live performances, the band has set the stage for the next chapter of their career. .. .. .. "You guys [Benedict Arnold] are gonna make it. . . .and that's saying something cause the last person I said that about was Barbara Streisand." - a senile old gentleman .. .."[Benedict Arnold] are saving the Boston music scene!" - some Goth guy .. .."That shit's better than any record!!" - P.M. Dawn during our soundcheck at Bill's Bar .. .."Benedict Arnold has that thing, I call it the 'it factor.'" - Roye, manager of The Notorious MSG .. .."[Benedict Arnold] are good... Teflon-smooth." - Tim, promoter of VT Battle of the Bands .... .. .... .. .. .. .. .. ...... ........ .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ............ ....
