Hi,
I'm Ben Fitts. I a bit of a geek and an entrepreneur. It's ok to be a geek though!

You see in 1993 I was one of the first people to be on the internet. By 1996 I had created my own internet service provider. I was a bit young and naive. The business failed, but it was the first of much more to come!

I always have run my own businesses, from the time I was a teenager and mowed grass to buy my first computer, to my high school class project which my business decided was a good enough idea that they setup a Skateboard shop with me.

Since the late 90's I've been building businesses online. I created soccerindex.com the first web search engine for soccer sites. I eventually branched out to soccerfans.com which offered some online prediction competitions where you could predict the scores of MLS games. We also offered free email hosting. I sold those in 2000.

I've also worked in the corporate world. Man did that suck. I thought I was going to work in a dot.com and work really hard for a few years and get rich. That never happened. In fact I was laid off 3 times. Once from a company I was working 80-100 weeks to help them launch their web sites. That really burned. It made me realize I needed to take control of my own future.

Now I'm known as Benjamin Fitts, internet marketer, entrepreneur, author, and network marketer. I apply my internet marketing skills to growing my Send Out Cards business and have become known as the custom card guy.

Network Marketing gets a bad reputation and I think one of the reasons is crappy overpriced products. (Ours are cheaper than store bought cards and they are totally customizable with your photos, your handwriting, your signature, even put a gift card inside, and we print them, stuff the envelope, lick the stamp, and mail them for you! All for less than store bought cards.) Another reason people hate network marketing is the failure rate. I think this is often related to the systems. We as network marketers fail to provide the right systems for our team and fail to get that knowledge out there so that even someone on out 15th level knows about the system. This is another trick I learned from Internet Marketing. Mike Filsaime's Butterfly Marketing talks about how you need to provide all the tools to make your system simple for your affiliates to market your product. Network Marketing is the same thing. Thats why I now provide marketing web sites, banners, buttons, autoresponders, conference calls, recorded calls, camtasia videos, downloadable pdfs, a team web site, a team forum, and team events (parties, trainings, etc.) to assist my team members. That way even the most novice person can follow our instructions and begin to see some results.

I do more than simply network market though! I have traditional internet marketing sites and authored an ebook on how to find your network marketing niche.
