Writing, I write lots of things from fiction to blogging to articles on several topics related to blindness. I'm somewhat active on several E-mail lists related to blindness and especially guide dogs. I've been working with guide dogs for nearly 13 years, having trained with my first dog, a male golden retriever named Gerard in November/December 1995. Gerard passed away on Saturday 27 October 2007 at age 13. We were part of California class 553 December 9, 1995. I now have an soon to be 10 year old golden retriever called Fleming and he has been my guide for the past 8 years. Fleming and I graduated as part of Origan class 49 unleashed upon the world on 11 March 2000. Both my guides were trained by Guide Dogs for the Blind, Inc. of San Rafael, California.
Recently, I've developed an interest in urbin exploration. I'm unable to do it myself, but enjoy looking at the work of others, noteibly Mr. Motts. You can visit his website and view the places he's photographed at:

Did you try e-bay for the carseat and stroller covers? Sometimes they have stuff like that new in the package. At the turn of the century, boys were dressed in pink because it was a derivitive of red, a masculine color! Good luck!!
