Formed in 2007, BENG BENG COCKTAIL is a 3 piece band coming from France : DA OJ (Guitar, vocals and rythm) , BEFA (Bass and Vocals) and SKAL (Guitar, vocals and Rythm).
The band is composed of 2 ex-members of the great old ska/punk/hardcore band : SKAPSOM.
The music is influenced by Ska, Punk, Hip-Hop, Crack Rock, Hardcore, Screamo.
BENG BENG performs mixing all of these styles in an accoustic way to give something new, something you have never heard, something they use to call : CRYSTALCORE.
BBC first release « From the Swallow to the Bottle » is a 22 tracks digipack of pure melodies and great energy. This CD features the greatest names of the punk and ska scene => Public Serpents (ex Choking Victim), Union Jack, Stupid Stupid Henchmen, Splitside, Ghetto Blaster, Cerephesis and Mentenguerra.

Their first tour has been done in UK in august 2009 and BBC has already shared the stage with great bands as LEFTOVER CRACK, JAYA THE CAT, NEW DISASTER, GLOBAL PARASITE, DEAD SUBVERTS, LUVDUMP, ARMED RESPONSE UNIT, SIX FISH, KILL YOUTH CULTURE etc…

As you may or may not be aware SoundARC hold a charity gig every year at Club 85 in Hitchin in aid of the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, and this year we are going to try something a little different from previous years.
This year we are going to take over the club and host 37 acts in one weekend putting full bands upstairs and acoustic acts downstairs in an event that we are calling ARCfest!
It all starts on Friday 4th December at 7pm and then continues on through Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th from 12pm-11pm
As well as raising money for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, ARCfest will showcase all the different genres of bands that we at SoundARC have come across over the last 4 and a half years. Over this weekend a lot of the acts that you will see don’t get a chance to play a great local venue like Club 85, So as well as hearing new music you will see all manors of genres and styles from acoustic - Metal - Indie - Rock - Punk - Electro - Ska - Funk - Hip Hop/Rap - Alternative - Rhythm & Blues - Reggae - Grunge and loads more that I cant remember!

Yo skal i checked out the new bands on skagency and theyre fucking dope! its weird i never heard of shot dead, i thought i had heard all the good ska bands from Ontario but i gess i missed them lol. so u guys r recording some new songs? thats awesome man i can't wait to hear wat u guys got cooking now!
