Benign Myth is a unique blend of Metal/ Funk/ Alt./ Hardcore/ Rock, they are from the Mysterious City of Dunblane and are here to Rock the sh*t out of everyone that hears them! All their music is played at full volume just to make a point! This Band is here to bring the house down!
Benign Myth have released a 4 track EP, Recorded at Homegrown Studios with Ex vocalist (Ricky) the first CD is rough and the style and sound isn't quite what they are now but the EP does well in complementing what Benign Myth are about and what they want to do!
As said above Benign Myth have undergoed an incredible change in their music. Departing with Ricky as a vocalist and searching for the right person for the job! But nothing is going to stop them continuing their musical mission to play their music to as many people as physically possible. Benign Myth have always kept it real and will be back in '2006' to blow you all away with their amazing power and stature!!

I’m just sending a little message around as we have a question and we want to ask our friends for input.
We cannot decide whether to release the Album in late May or June. We plan to tour from mid May and the argument is that if we release in June we can tie the release into the fan build from the tour, but it might get squashed with all the Summer and festival releases, however, if we release in May it might have less competition but we won’t have the tour working yet to promote it.
What do you think? I’d love to hear your opinion on this.
It’s been far too long since I last said hello and so much has happened I thought it about time we said did.
We’ve changed a lot, now we are an “UltraModern, post-electro rock, post-nu rave behemoth where Muse and Mansun meet a Massive Attack with Duran Duran pop sensibilities, louder guitars, and a stunning female front person/guitar virtuoso”, or so we have been told.
