As a Bard, I primarily entertain the good folks who participate in the Society for Creative Anachronism (aka The SCA), and my experiences in the SCA have served as major inspiration for continuing to create new music. But what, pray tell, is the SCA? This preview of a forthcoming documentary should help explain a lot (although I'm not sure it really makes me look like any less of a RenFaire Nerd)...
Sounds Like
I may begin quite melodious and in fine tenor, but the more I smoke and drink (and the more performances I do on a given weekend) the more I start to sound like Stevie Ray Vaughn or perhaps Meatloaf ;-)
Come out and just enjoy the show, or jump in and participate (liquid courage available at the bar!). Do you or your friends have something to share with us?
Thanks for the addition Benjamin the Bard, We are fellow bards and I welcome your music and humor. We have rock-n-ren in common. Take care and I will be looking in now and again to see what's new.
your welcome, ya it should be fun, actually I think your mom and dad are coming down here tomorrow. hmm... Are you still doing the same job at the hospital?
Thanks for the add! I love My Borderline Baby...The Billy Joel version is creepy; your lyrics are in a weird way more true to the original than the original, if that makes sense.
We SO need to do lunch. :) I'm going back on the radio, for one thing. I'm throwing a huge event in summer 2009 that I'd love for you to play at, for another. Call me. *hugs*
