Sounds Like
These new songs have been described as, "musically, it's like if Wilco, the Flaming Lips, and the Postal Service got together for a few songs. It's exciting to hear the strength of Ben's songwriting with new tools and ideas to express them".
Newer material currently being recorded brings in live drums, bass, horns and strings for acoustic treatments in addition to electronic sounds and other experimental deviations.

The equinoxes always reminds me of I Declare by the Orange, which I think you were a part of?
It's intangible like a long lost Myan glyph/Like the perfect guitar riff/Like an egg you can balance up on it's end/But there's just two days you can do it/I declare: nothing's bitter bad or sour/It's just only what is there.
Sorry if this is random, but I was/am a big fan. :)
