Ben Kilgore is a singer/songwriter from Tulsa, Oklahoma. His dad, John Wayne, was a Worship Pastor for 23 years, and taught Ben everything he knows.
Ben fronted Tulsa band The Hero Factor for the past 6 years and now splits his time between the studio, and any one of several live side projects. His strong vocals have garnered him the award for Best Male Vocalist four consecutive years in the Urban Tulsa, a local publication. Ben writes honest songs that uncover emotions often unsaid, and hope often overlooked. He's keeps it simple, but delivers with unwavering conviction. His story is one of persistence and determination, successes and heartbreaks. Ben loves making music, loves an unforgettable melody, and loves sharing his song.
He has been for the past year writing and demo-ing songs for an upcoming solo release that continues to evolve and progress. He's covering new ground, looking for the light in the dark, searching for silver linings. Stay tuned...

I went to a show of yours last year at cains. You played with Steven Speaks. I've discovered it is impossible to find a track of you guys doing the lovestoned cover. It was amazing and I think you should add it on here.

Love your new demo's..normal love is greaaat! I have to say something, I would come EVERY sunday night to the "Moon" to see you perform for the past three years! I just recently married and moved away and LOVING it! But, People ask, "So, you miss Tulsa? and I say "nahh..a lil'..but I do miss my "moon nights with Ben!!" Just thought I would share that with ya! Amazing work, can't wait to hear more!!
