Ben Konstantin's Comedian Bio
|
| Bio | A Detroit based comedian, Ben Konstantin draws on unique experiences like getting through daily life with attention deficit disorder, being Jewish and going to art school (and for a few years, all at the same time).
Inspired by a range of comedy greats like Richard Pryor, Woody Allen and Lewis Black, his dry sense of humor, edgy rants, off-beat delivery and unique voice give Ben his own style.
The winner of the comedy contest: “Robert Klein and six guys from Detroit,”
He is also the winner of the (Detroit), DC comedy festival competition (where he appeared).
Konstantin has also performed at the Boston Comedy Festival, was a finalist in the
“Comedy Idol” competition and was named to the “Best of Fest” in the first ever Detroit International Comedy Festival.
Working with a range of notables such as Lewis Black himself, Demitri Martin,
Robert Klein, Alonzo Bodden and country band Lonestar.
Ben has also been featured on Sirrius Satellite radio, WDFN sports radio, the fan

Writing and performing comedy. Exceptions include: when the audience hates me (see "Waterford" for reference).
Arguing sports, making fun of the Lions (unavailable for use as material becasue I like to write my own jokes), smoking cigars, watching Woody Allen movies (not as much with the last twelve or so) listening to Dylan, playing with nephew, eating breakfast ast Monty's grille and performing karaoke.
