BEN KORBEL (DJ)

Ben, at 30 years of age, has been DJing for more than 13 years. After winning the 3D World Bedroom Bangers competition in 1998, Ben went on to be voted No.1 in the country in Australias very first national DJ poll, the AUS DJ Top 20, co-ordinated by Inthemix. When Inthemix then started their Technics 50 the following year, Ben was voted No. 7 in the country. Currently Ben is based in Ibiza, Spain during the European Summer, playing We Love Space in Ibiza each Sunday. Production wise, he's worked with Inxec (Contexterrior) and Mike Monday (OM) with more in the not too distant pipeline. Ben's Balance presents Electric_03 and Doll's House Mix albums have well received in all corners of the globe. He does occassional radio guest spots for John Digweed's Transitions, Triple J Mixup, Ibiza Voice Podcasts and the like. He's currently basing himself in Berlin for the Winter months with trips back to Australa.
