Being blessed with Godly parents, Ben McDonald has spent the majority of his life in the church. However, it wasn't until his freshman year at Belmont University that God radically changed his life. Although Ben had declared Jesus Christ as his Savior, he had yet to declare Jesus as Lord of all. He began to be challenged and mentored by some fellow men of God and became a member of Bethel World Outreach Center, a local church in Nashville that belongs to a worldwide ministry called "Every Nation Ministries and Churches."
Ben graduated from Belmont University in August 2005 with a Bachelor of Business Admin./Music Business, and is currently the Worship/Creative Arts Director of Turning Point Church in McDonough, GA. This multi-talented worship leader/song-writer is actively writing songs and planning for a live worship album, which will be recorded in late 2006. He travels around the country to lead worship for youth retreats/conferences, churches, and college services.
In the future, Ben would like to continue traveling around the globe. He has a desire to raise up and train cross-cultural worship teams for church plants across the world, and has a calling to minister to a lost generation. He also has a vision to start a school of worship one day.

Ben how'ya doing? You are one amazing man of God and it just brings me chills to see you and Peeper together. You two are going to have an amazing ministry together, I get giddy just thinking of it. Anways I just wanted to say a quick thank you for all that you have done for me. You've been a great friend and support. Thank you. Also thank you so much for letting me sing at camp and on Sunday, that meant the world to me. Plus you wouldn't believe the impact that had on some of the kids in youth. They kept saying they wanted to sing like I do. That they want to use the gifts and talents that God gave them for His glory, too cool, huh? I pray that life is settling back to normal for ya after camp. With His Love, Brie

As 2007 begins, it is our hope, our wish, that IFI Music will help make 2007 the year of Indie Music. To assure that we will accomplish this feat, IFI Music has begun assembling an Advisory Panel consisting of people involved in varioius areas of the Indie Music Community. This Panel will help establish the strategy and objectives of IFI Music and begin a nationwide network that will be the foundation of regional IFI Music Chapters. This move will open the door for the first IFI Music National Convention to be held in 2009.
We invite you to be a part of our new movement and make a point to let us know how you feel about what we are doing. This is an exciting time for the Indie Music Community. It is time for us to EACH take what we have learned from the past, join together as one and with that combined wisdom, create a unified sovereign Indie Music Community.
Do you know of any worship nights in your area on New Year's Eve?
If you do, please post the details in the comment section of the blog to let the nameless.faceless. network in on the deal...
