26 year old Ben, who was born in Medway in Kent, has a remarkable voice which Simon Cowell compared to a ‘young Joe Cocker’. Ben's extraordinarily powerful voice and his distinguished brown locks, combined with his natural musicality - he plays both piano and guitar - won him huge support during X-Factor.

Ben is currently writing and recording his debut album at the legendary Olympic studios (The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Eric Clapton and Led Zeppelin). The album is released on March 12th and features songs from the show and Ben's own material.

“The X Factor experience has been unbelievable,” says Ben. “It was the perfect platform to gain recognition and I'm really enjoying writing and recording this album"

Angel57	Jul 7 2008 3:13 AM Everyday I crawl out of bed, I'm riddled with the most awful pain, from this lousy disease I have, I grab the coffee pot, and a handful of painkillers, and sit and listen to these songs and my life becomes decidedly better, after half an hour I feel able to cope with whatever the days throw at me,thanks Ben. I wish I could get you on prescription! Angel x
Jeanette	Jul 6 2008 12:16 PM I played your new songs down the phone to my mum yesterday and she loved all of them especialy the first 'teaser one' she really loves all you do and she loves your long hair too, she is dead cool for her age and has been watching Glastonbury and said she wished she had gone as she loves 'The Verve' if you do a gig near her in Essex I will have to go there and bring her with me, she would adore one of your gigs,I intend to keep young like my mum, she's an inspiration! hope you are enjoying the lovely British summer of wind and rain!

I agree with Lyn, "stay with me" is my fav of the new tracks on here - really looking forward to hearing more - i must play them to my mum, she needs her days brightening at the mo and im sure these lovely songs will help :) xxx
