After half a decade of raw comedy spots (ok one a year), Benne finally decided to try more then an annual spot on early 2005. Initially He's humour was very dark, very wrong, but still had a hint of innocence to it. (he was described as "the wrongest comedian in melbourne" at one point). Now he's work is less offensive, but still tainted and tinged with a dark undertone. With he's comedy covering many subjects, Benne is able to see the dark humour in nearly every subject, even Kittens and puppies.
He also runs the Comedy C'Mon Down, at the Cue in melbourne. This room has hosted the likes of Michael Chamberlin, Corrine Grant and Charlie Pickering, to name a few. This runs every wednesday night at the Cue (1/277 brunswick st fitzroy).
From Novemeber 2006 Benne teamed up with Mr Paul Jones~! to make radio history in melbourne (ok it's only history because it's my first radio gig, but it still counts to my Mum!!) with the morning after which is the best thing to happen to AM Radio in eon's.
He's also an alround nice guy, inspite of he's appearence and humour.

About me, other then being the funniest person in the world, which is a full time thing anyway, do you know how hard it is to be on all the time and always making people laugh?? its so much pressure that its not funny. (much like that sentence). Seriously I am a stand up comic, unpaid, and I run a comedy room in melbourne, which I like to think is my way of saying thanks to all the lovely people that I have meet and become friends with since doing comedy. You guys probably don't know this but you have helped me enormously, not just with my act but with my life off the stage.

Other then comedy I also work as a phone monkey in a call centre, but then again what comedian/actor/performer hasn't done this kind of job??

This Thursday OH SNAP!!! is back. Our headliner is one of our favourites Lawrence Mooney. He was one of only 3 Australian Comedians selected from (pretty much) every comedian in the country by NBC to compete in the finals of Last Comic Standing in LA.
