Imagine a sound that made your feet dance, head bob, and face smile. Ben Nelson and his Band have been making that sound all around the southeast for a few years now. And just think it all started with a 10 year old boy and his fathers old Guild guitar. Ben has shared the stage with many household names. About 2 years ago Ben decided to bring on a full perminent band consisting of: Saxaphone (DJ Hartin), Bass (Brady Gomillion) and Drums (Kevin Chandler). As the year passed and Ben played over 140 shows, things slowed down and changed a bit with his move to Birmingham, Alabama from Greenville Alabama.
The Ben Nelson Band is a Band that is here to move more than just feet, but to move hearts. They are a 100% christian band that loves to go lead worship as well as do concerts. Things are picking for this young group and alot of fans are hopping on board. I hope you get a chance to come and worship with the Ben Nelson Band at a church, coffee shop, cafe, theatre, concert hall, festival, rally, or camp near you. peace. 1 Cor 10:31

Auburn, Alabama – April 2, 2008
Join us at the Davis Arboretum on the main campus of Auburn University to celebrate Earth Day 2008! You can enjoy 11 native Alabama bands among 13 acres of native Alabama plants. This is a free event for all members of the Earth community.
Earthfest’s biggest fans call it
”The best event that happens in Auburn!”
There will be student groups and organizations with environmental interests sharing their information with the public between noon and 5pm between the long leaf pines.
The Davis Arboretum has spearheaded this event for the last 5yrs. The Environmental Awareness Organization is the student group that has supported the event for over 15 yrs. This year’s sponsors are Taylor’s Bakery and the Big Blue Bagel.
The EAO will be selling food and drinks to raise funds for future events. Picnic food and drinks are welcome, but the campus alcohol policy will be enforced.
Parking will be available at the Auburn Church of Christ on College Street. Carpooling, bicycling, and walking are strongly encouraged.
