Influences
Earliest influences came through my older cousin who introduced me to Artie Shaw's music. Listened to many other Big Bands until I found Ray Charles - Aretha Franklin - Albert, BB, Freddie King - Sam 'n Dave - Wilson Picket and many more. Through Alexis Korner, John Mayall and the early Stones, I started to become aware of Robert Johnson - Elmore James - Muddy Waters - John Lee Hooker -Albert Collins and so on. It wasn't until I came to live in the States that I learned who Buddy Guy - Little Walter - Lil Milton and many others were. There's much left for me to discover...
