My life is a movie I am starring in every single day of my truly amazing & wonderful life!
I am the secret grandson of Marylin Monroe & John F. Kennedy. I was born singing and have played electronic guitar since I was 6 months old ! Wrote my 1st full length symphony in half an hour between passing the bar & getting my 2nd solo publication in a medical journal by the age of five years old. I will soon be performing live in the custom 2.7 billion dollar theatre I personally designed in Dubai exclusively. I was so spun even I almost couldn't tell my friends from my enemies for a brief moment in time ~ but alas ~ in a format that commands us to look at every single one of our contemporaries individually as well as collectively in such an accurate simulation of a professionally competitive environmental situation ~ that I can totally relate to exactly what you are feeling ~ in fact I know everyone taking part in this have shared identical feelings individually as well as a collective ~ and this ~ my brethren ~ may be only one of many innumerable fascinating aspects experienced as our commonwealth & individuality evolves !

I was born in an open guitar case ~ the guitar was pawned long ago ~ in a seedy section of Los Angeles that most of the local residents of this City of Angels has never even seen ~ only 10 miles from the center of Hollywood ~ outside on the street in the cold ~ surrounded by the litter of broken bottles that fueled the very fabric of the lives of my entire family and all our neighbors ~ in this neighborhood known as Skid Row.
It had been said that my dad died on the day I was born too ~ It was the last anyone had ever heard of him.
The music around there was the sound of lost men pissing on the wall beside you ~ the murmur of mentally ill jiberesh ~ the sound of someone vomiting 10 feet away ~ the song of the helpless & the hopeless begging & crying all around you ~ with an ambience of gunshots & sirens in the near distance ~ & the whimper of a broken mother just a little closer.
Who would have thought things were ever going to get better ? No one that's who. Not one single person within four dirty depressed city blocks with a glimmer of hope. And for once all the poor down & out victims of society had the misfortune of being right for once ~ as our streak of bad luck continued unbroken.
I died in that guitar case the very day I was born. I was the lucky one.

Twelve Questions to Determine a World View
Todays view from the Altruistic Messiah's ~ Ashram / Asylum !!!!!
Problem Statement: What are the most basic world view perspectives that people everywhere fit into?
Purpose: To attempt to flex a creative problem solving approach using critical thinking to answer this question.
Assumptions: That America is of global influence enough to factor as a reference point in formulating some of the questions.
Introduction
Probably no subject has been written about more than that of human nature. By now it is common knowledge that almost everyone is biased, and that it takes continuous effort to avoid a natural human tendency towards being so. There have always existed people who want to start wars for no apparent reasons, radical religious zealots who insist that everyone convert to their views, those who argue women must be destined primarily for housework, and racists that want to kill everyone else based on skin color.
a) Satisfying Personal Wants Early On
· A baby cares only about satisfying personal urges.
· Children want material things.
· Teenagers want more material things, plus acceptance.
· Young adults generally concern themselves with cars, money and relationships
· Mature adults generally strive for financial freedom and security.
b) Developing Personal Views During Growth
· Genetic factors predisposition individuals.
· Traumatic experiences play a role during personal development.
· Religious training factors directly or indirectly in shaping personality during development.
· Environmental factors, culture and perceived opportunities further shape the individual, such as social status.
c) Adapting a Cultural Values System
· Do they grow up in a developing nation or a third world.
· Do they immigrate, and if they do where do they immigrate to.
· Faith in their political system as an environmental influence.
· Stance on believability of television and news media as an environmental influence.
· Internet as an environmental influence.
· Drugs as an environmental influence.
· On sexual freedom.
d) Adjusting to Organizational Perspectives
· The importance of making money as the reason for working.
· The capability of the individual to participate in an organization that goes against personal values.
· Believing a personal responsibility to contribute to a better world exists at work.
Criterion: Formulating Twelve Questions into a World View
A world view can be determined based upon answering ten selected questions derived from 12 sentences paraphrased from the works of famous philosophers and historical figures using a problem solving approach.
1. Mead ? ?Can great change be initiated by very small groups of individuals??
2. Durant ? ?Can we learn from the lessons of history??
3. Einstein- ?Do you live in a friendly world, or a dangerous world??
4. Nietzsche ? ?Does might make right??
5. Hitler- ?Does a superior race or races really exist??
6. Malthus ? ?Is the world quickly running out of natural resources??
7. Roland- ?Is Ozone layer depletion and global warming really significantly occurring??
8. Swarzenegger ? ?Is the prison system working in California??
9. Eisenhower ? ?Should Americans be apprehensive of their military industrial complex becoming too large??
10. Smith ? ?Does an invisible hand really exist, and if it does is it enough??
11. Chomsky ? ?Has America always been an aggressive imperialist nation??
12. Annan ? ?Is gender equality is more than a goal in itself??
Alternatives Formulating Answer Sets into Categories
· Application of criteria to derive the basic sets of view combinations
Conclusion:
A set of x world views can be constructed based on an individual might answer a set of twelve paraphrased key questions based on the works of well-known geniuses, philosophers, despots and other contemporary and famous historical figures.
From a developmental perspective, individuals form personal values early on, as they grow into adults these values get adjusted. Genetic, environmental, social and organizational factors all contribute to the development of the individuals views.
A series of questions were formulated based on a list of 12 paraphrased questions derived from the works of selected philosophers and other historical figures. An analysis of how an individual answers the set of questions to reconciles values was used to create a simplified set of classifications for world views in a global setting that apply everywhere.
~ well all I have to say is if you are still reading this column at this stage of the page , that you have the kind of persistence that really ought to take you very far in life !!!!!

About me: Ben was born in the greater Los Angeles area, sometime after Elvis made that first song for his Mother, before the Beatles and that whole British invasion thing. Before surf music, after bebop, ... you get the idea ... he’s an old man, ... so he thinks he really knows a LOT more than he actually does, but he’s definitely been around the block a couple times. As a multi-level - singer/songwriter/producer ~ a well known electronic/guitar/synthesist & respected sonic technician ~ he has become a highly sought after ~ totally original ~ completely unorthodox type of musician ~ a unique individual artist who is an experienced, engaging performer ~ & the promoter of a product that is nothing, if not undeniably his own, Ben had became a jack of all trades, and a master of none. His personal mismanagement in self representation is now considered a somewhat - almost legendary as the de-facto standard example of how things of this nature should never be done, at least by those very few people who . . . ever ~ even seemed to notice . . . Ben says
"It's always good to honor the music you dug , even as a kid , & even though tastes change as we grow a little older , once you're actually really old ( like me ) you start to appreciate the qualities that initially turned you on to the whole music bag in the 1st place , and recognize the value of music that served to attract & inspire.
Just because other's don't see the merit in the things we might have personally related to in our youth doesn't discount the true artistic value of such music.
As a matter of fact , that's what rock 'n' roll has always really been about.

First of all the~ old saying that "Rock 'n' Roll ~ is a rich kid's game" ~ has never been truer & although we may have a better shot in this profession than say being an actor or a pro golfer ~ the two main facts still remain ...
1. Everyone who has ever made a penny in Pop Music ~ is still trying to make another one , as well as everyone of their friends & relatives , & even a few of their enemies !
2. Many who have never even made a penny in Pop Music ~ will still spend their entire lives trying to make that first one ~ all the way into the grave , and even then some of their friends , relatives & enemies will still try to make that first penny ~ after they are ~ decomposing !
In addition I would like to point out many famous artists die broke ~ and many were never recognized ~ until they were no longer alive to know they were recognized for their art .
Never judge your own personal talent on an Internet contest ranking , or the number of stars awarded by your co contestants ~ only the artist may recognize their contribution to art ~ & sometimes even the artist can't .
