About me: bennykelly is a clothing line created to recapture that magical play we all need from our little child within. we want people to see that when they grow up they can still incorporate the little necessities-like a funny picture or an interactive outfit-that make us excited even for just a split moment.
with bennykelly we try to combine simple classic apparel design, for both men and women, with stencils and screens of a limited run. every garment is piece dyed, giving each a truly unique shade.
we have also tried to incorporate the overall guide of sustainability when producing my garments. One of the reason we run such a limited series of most pieces is because of the limitation of supplies. we use only fabric that is itself sustainable or is recycled/reused. yard sales are great places to score cheap fabric and toys!
we are looking into more earth friendly dyes...check out the blog benny & kelly for great homemade natural dyes. Show us what you create and we'll post it!

That would be awesome if you could come to san jose when I'm there! I might be able to make it to oakland without getting completely lost, but it's unlikely. I should be going in the next couple of weeks sometime...yay!
