A singer/songwriter/performer/musician for a quarter of a century, my sound has been compared to Tom Waits, Woody Guthrie, John Prine, Sting and even Frank Zappa.
At the age of 16, I opened for Charlie McCoy and the Hee Haw Gang in Fayetteville, WV and received two standing ovations for my song "Billy". On that night, I became addicted to the stage. My lyrics and communication skills with the audience are definately two of my stronger points.
In 1994, BCA records released my first CD, "Chewing On Broken Glass". Since then, I have been getting regular airplay on stations such as WUMB-FM 91.9 Boston. The following quote came from Marilyn Rea Beyer (music director WUMB-FM 91.9)... "The way Benny grabs the English language with both hands and makes it speak his mind takes my breath away. The clarity of his playing and his voice display those words so effectively that each song seems to be like a ship in a bottle. How did he get everything in there? Perhaps what is most arresting about Benny is that he is entirely un self-conscious. Not a phony moment".
Thank you for all your support... We hope you had a great Holiday weekend and are enjoying the week... Have a great weekend too.. and next week if we don't talk to you... And following weekend after that... And week... haha.. I'm sure you get the point... Talk to you sooner than later... peace :) LOL
The right to eulogize is not mine, but with sad shock this news has come. It is not every day that we lose both a king and princess of beauty and strength. Farrah Fawcett lost a brave battle and regardless of what we believe to be truth or fiction regarding Michael Jackson, he was an artist of original song, dance, voice and video. While opening doors, that will be held ajar long after all of us are gone, this man inspired and pioneered. The only true constant in our universe is change. With change comes loss and gain. As in most cases the gain preceded the loss but subsequent benefits will be reaped by future lovers of art and entertainment. Cautionary tales are of no use because this was a one of a kind life and we will hopefully focus more on the warmth of the sun and not the burn.
hi Benny, thank you so much for the friendship..we are really glad to have you as our friend..you are amazing..we would be honored if you really listen to our song and if you give honest comment about our song..all the best.:)

Just came by to wish you happiness and great times…I look forward to hearing from my new friends of late. To my steadfast and reliably receptive mates; your comments are replied smiles, worth miles of tireless wiped brow through scorch lifting snap of needed refreshing rain. You are why I do this. Whether it was your talent or excellent spirit that caused crossed path, your warmth and grace now engender guileless attraction, and I thank you…r
Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a regional holiday in Mexico, primarily celebrated in the state of Puebla, with some limited recognition in other parts of Mexico. While outnumbered, the Mexicans defeated a much better-equipped French army at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. Cinco de Mayo is not "an obligatory federal holiday" in Mexico, but rather a holiday that can be observed voluntarily. While Cinco de Mayo has limited significance nationwide in Mexico, the date is observed in the United States and other locations around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. It is a great reminder that although we all face insurmountable odds, at times in life, overcoming them is more than possible. It’s also a good excuse to tell you just how important your friendship is to me. Hope all is well...r HEY BENNY
Hey there friend! Its been way too long. How are you? Still in NC? I think about you often and hope all is well with you! Do you have any dates planned to play? Any in Knoxville? Please let me know how you are getting along! Love.
