Bio:

Benoit Gagné est un guitariste jazz et le directeur musical du New Chamber Jazz Trio. Depuis son arrivée à Montréal, il a eu la chance d'étudier et de jouer auprès de musiciens importants de la scène jazz tel Michel Donato, Richard Provençal, James Gelfand, Greg Amirault et Mike Gauthier. Alors qu'il était au sein du Big Band de l'Université de Montréal, il a eu la chance de partager la scène avec le célèbre pianiste jazz Oliver Jones. Il se consacre maintenant en grande partie à la direction musicale du New Chamber Jazz Trio, pour lequel il arrange plusieurs classiques du répertoire jazz de l'ère swing et bebop. ******************************************************************************************************** Benoit Gagné is a Montreal-based jazz guitarist and the musical director of the New Chamber Jazz Trio. Since he is living in Montreal, he had the chance to play and study alongside great jazz players as Michel Donato, Richard Provençal, James Gelfand, Greg Amirault and Mike Gauthier. While he was in the Montreal University Big Band, he also had the wonderful opportunity to play alongside the famous piano player Oliver Jones. Now, he is mainly directing the New Chamber Jazz Trio, for which he is also arranging jazz classics from the swing and bebop eras. ********************************************************************************************************* ..
