Benoit is a session drummer and drum tutor, who came to the UK a few years ago. He is also currently doing a Performance and Production Degree at the London Center of Contemporary Music.
Before coming to the LCCM, Ben graduated from the National French College of Music and completed a one year Diploma at Drumtech. At these intriguing places he has been inspired by a number of great tutors, such as Daryn Farrugia, Peter Perfido, Erik Stams, Bosco de Oliveira, Pete Zeldman...
Ben began learning snare technique and classical percussions in France at the age of seven with Marcel Artzer, head of percussions and timpanist at the Symphony Orchestra of the National Opera of Lorraine. A few years later he specialized in drums. This background has enabled him to work in various fields from classical to contemporary music.
