Benoît débute la musique à l’âge de 7 ans. C’est le saxophone qui lui insufflera ses premiers émois.
Durant l’adolescence, il ne sera pas épargné par l’appel du rock et s’éprend d’un amour indéfectible pour la guitare. C’est alors le temps des premiers groupes de reprises et des premiers concerts.
Après des études de solfège classique, il se perfectionne dans les musiques actuelles et étudie le style de nombreux musiciens qu’il admire dont Pat Metheny, Shawn Lane, Al di Meola, Joe Satriani, Miles Davis (…) . Il décide d’approfondir la question et de suivre le cursus de la M.A.I de Nancy ou il assiste aux master-class d’ Allan Holsworth, Scott Henderson (…) et sort diplômé de l’ école en 2001 avec une mention spéciale à l’unanimité et les félicitations du jury.
Depuis, Benoît enchaîne les séances de studio et les concerts. Il est également démonstrateur chez IBANEZ et enseigne la guitare au CEMM d’Arras et au CMA de Valenciennes dont il conçoit le programme guitare.
Benoît started learning music when he was seven and saxophone was his first love.
As a teenager, he was very keen on Rock'n'roll and he fell deeply in love with the guitar. Those were the days of first bands and concerts.
After classical music studies, he became an expert on contemporary music styles and analyzes many musician’s technique such as Pat Metheny’s, Shawn Lane’s, Al di Meola’s, Joe Satriani’s, Miles Davis’s (…). But he wasn’t going to stop there and became a student at the M.A.I in Nancy where he attended many “master classes” with Allan Holsworth, Scott Henderson (…) and passed his degree in 2001 with the congratulations of the board of examiners.
Since then, Benoît has spent most of his time in studio sessions and concerts. He is also one of the Ibanez Crew and teaches the guitar at the C.E.M.M in Arras and at the C.M.A in Valenciennes.
I am glad to announce the release of my debut CD called "Interro Island". This is my first solo project, which includes original tunes composed and arranged by me. I hope you will enjoy my work!
This beautiful (yes, beautiful) album has been in the making for over a year, us Noble Brats, have worked so hard to create a perfect mirror of our essence and did everything by ourselves. From recording to mixing to mastering. and the result has exceeded even our own expectations. All the songs in this album are full of contrasts and a rockin' out exploration and critique of the different emotions that control our lives, emotions that might keep us in an unhealthy relationship even when we know it's not good for us, emotions that drive some to systematically cut into their own skin to get a sense of control over their pain, emotions that make us wonder about our place in this world. So if you feel ready to take a chance and go on a journey into the darkness of our souls, we promise you a light at the end of the tunnel, you might even see yourself in our eyes.

Ces fichiers devront être de bonne qualité, en WAV ou AIFF enregistrés sans écretage numérique, avec un niveau d'enregistrement n'excédant pas -3dbfs.
