About me: NEW LESSON SPACE AVAILABLE. Since the Music Loft closed, we are moving across the street oct 25 to the old Music Loft warehouse, where I taught and rehearsed years ago. I now have myself represented as an icon, thanks to the hillsborough Cool Jazz Festival. I played it 5 years ago and evidently they liked my look. I'm thinking they must have assumed I was from out of town and would never find out. I'm going to see about getting a gig there next year.
I'm a working bassist and teacher (since 1989) & father of 3. I play all styles on bass, upright and electric, specializing in jazz. I read from chord charts and standard notation.
