I've been a music fan from the day I was born. My mom had me listening to Barry Manilow and Simon & Garfunkel at first. My dad got me into The Beatles, Huey Lewis & The News, Peter Gabriel, and The Rolling Stones, and all this by the time I was in 2nd grade! In high school I discovered metal, and I started playing bass when I was 17. When I went to college I learned about classical and jazz, while also discovering death and black metal. I continued to play off and on since then. Singing at first was only because I didn't have anyone else who could perform what I wanted so I did it myself, but it's become a bit of a passion for me. I still need lessons to reach my full potential, but at least I have a better idea of how to use my voice to its best effect. As for programming keys and drums, I learned that out of necessity when I couldn't find players who were willing to and capable of performing my music. It's become quite the hobby.
