The Ben Ross Allstars formed in sometime between 2003 and 2004 by way of a combination of a an audition in progress; 3 guys with a spare, bored afternoon looking for something to do; and one of them writing a joke band name on an audition form. Thus was the beginning of the constant swapping between reknown and "you're not funny" that is The Ben Ross Allstars comprising of Nick McDougall (the one with the glasses), Ben Ross (the one with the spikey hair and sometimes guitar) and Andrew Sampford (the... well, the other one). Be it music theatre or stand-up musical comedy, these guys are guarunteed to make you say "...ugh?"
Dudes, I had to tell you that the SU Rap has been given special extra resonance - and therefore is being sung intermittently at random intervals at our house cos ALEX is studying Law there this year.
I think it was that song that inspired him to give it a go.

Hey guys, just watched all the vids, and heard the new song, AWeSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! , i would put more exclamation marks, but thats a bit lame, i expect to see you guys's names up in lights in the next few....somethings, it would be cool if you were on the sideshow or something, so yeah do that and i will love you all but not love like that cos that could get weird.......

In the promo we saw for Sideshow last week they actually just used Gatesy/Andrew's kick and that was all they showed of Tripod.
