Ben Stolorow has been active as a musician in the Bay Area for over 10 years. After studying both classical and jazz music at UC Berkeley, The Manhattan School of Music, and with numerous private teachers, Ben has become one of the most sought after jazz pianists in the Bay Area. Ben’s extensive training has given him the flexibility to be an active member of both the jazz and Brazilian music circles. In addition to being a member of “The Rio Thing,” Ben performs regularly with the Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, with jazz vocalist, Betty Fu, and with his own jazz trio. His playing is featured on two of guitarist, Terrence Brewer’s albums, “The Calling, Volume 1” and “Quintessential.” “I’ll Be Over Here," his first trio album, features seven original compositions and a fresh arrangement of the jazz standard, "Stella by Starlight."
