Ben has been playing guitar for 17 years and has dabbled in many genres. Acoustic guitar is his natural instrument. He has played in two succesful bands to date, Second Class Citizen and Wireman. He was forced to leave Wireman when nodules on his voice box developed after 3 years of hard gigging and a critically acclaimed performance at the Stroud Fringe Festival in 2007. Two years of rest, one diagnosis of depression and a baby later Ben is back gigging on his own, recording new solo material showing a more intraspective sound and fully embracing all his influences of folk, grunge and world music.
