Ben spent his summer days as a kid in front of his turntable going through every record in his Dad's huge vinyl collection. All of that music pushed him to follow in his father's footsteps and pick up a guitar in junior high and before you know it he was playing at school talent shows and forming a band in his parent's basement.
After years of jamming with other bands, doing side projects and even playing in a local church band on Sundays he is launching his own band, The Ben Tipler Band. He's jammed with Shane Wyatt, sat in with Marshall Star and opened for Sunny Sweeney, just to name a few gigs.
Heavily influenced by the Texas Country/Rock (Red Dirt) sound he's pieced together a band of childhood friends and local musicians to introduce Minnesota to music they need to hear as well as playing crowd favorites such as Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley & more. Rounding it all out with a handful of originals the Ben Tipler Band is sure to put on a great show and keep you entertained.
Ben takes the sounds he grew up on (rock and blues) and mixes it with some classic country to create a unique yet familiar sound that has been well received by audiences locally and nationally.
