Like the Styrofoam-encased lunch combo theyre named after, alternative rock quartet Bento fills bellies with recommended daily allowances of gently weeping guitars with no empty calories. From the quietly sublime to confidently noisy, these guys from the San Francisco bay area have been dishing out songs since 2004. Formerly a trio known as Like Squish Squash Virgins, the band quickly matured, added a fourth member, and changed their name right before self-releasing their debut album, Absent Without Leave. Consisting of members, Scott Iwata (voice/guitar), Elvin Reyes (guitar), Angelito Mesina Jr. (bass), and Jamie Quon (drums), Bento simply aims to satisfy the ears of hungry music listeners.

Of all times to finally have your release party! I would have left for Peru by then and won't be back for 1. 5 months! I hope there will be shows when I come back in August! I'm excited for you guys!
