"THE HISTORY"
In the Fall of 1963, an "unknown" British musician named George Harrison, on holiday in America, visited his sister Louise at her home in Benton, Illinois. The following February, the Beatles and George would appear on The Ed Sullivan Show and make their indelible mark on modern music and the world. The Benton George Harrison Beatle Festival is a non-profit organization that celebrates the very first US visit by a Beatle prior to the 1964 invasion. In an effort to remember history and celebrate the life of George Harrison.

I just want to mention that the video for my song " RINGO " is finally up on Youtube! It's a very retro video with Beatleish touches. It was done as a labor of love and with the utmost respect for the Fabs. I hope U enjoy it and spread the word. The song and video is my attempt at putting a little bit of the Beatle spirit out there for Beatle fans.
I'm very very influenced by George, being a guitar player & singer/songwriter. George is an under rated slide guitar player, one of the best.
I recently purchased a turntable & bought 33 1/3, Dark Horse, Living in the Material World & Cloud Nine on vinyl, some of his songs came off better than if the Beatles for ex. Not Guilty. The concert for George is one of the best I've ever seen!
