Influences
Gary Numan, Depeche Mode, Mick Karn, The Fall, The Sisters Of Mercy, Tangerine Dream, and a whole load of other bands who I sound nothing like, but who influence my attitude towards music and how I make it.
Sounds Like
Mick Karn.... maybe, a tiny bit. Perhaps a hint of Tangerine Dream. Damned if I know what else. I don't really listen to bands who play this kind of thing, whatever it might be called.
Benway has been making music since 1988, though most of it was absolutely terrible, as he couldn't actually play an instrument in any recognisable way.
The purchase of an Amiga computer made a world of difference, followed by a Roland MC303. The rest would be history, if anyone knew about it.

General Interests:
Computers and the internet (duh!), chatrooms, collecting vintage computers and retro consoles, making music (though it's been a while), taking billions of photos when I go on holiday with my girlfriend (which we do a lot), and loads of other stuff.
Having climbed the social ladder as far as buying a house in Worksop, I searched on Techno and Worksop and up popped you within the world of myspace. Thats 3 people in the town I now know of, metropolis...

As you may know TD celebrate 40 wonderful years in the music business next weekend in Frankfurt with a very special concert at the Alt Opera house so I’m really forward to meeting many old and new friends alike at the big fan event gathering we’ve arranged there prior to the concert.
Due to this very epic occasion there won’t be our regular TDFZ Radio live friends music show this coming Saturday, but please do keep sending your own great music into us for when the show recommences at it’s usual slot on October 13th.
