Slowhand Staccato is like the soundtrack to a Fellini movie realized by Tarantino. Spanish-Arabian tunes are mixed with tango elements and the broken beats of a marching band. Ben zen Berg bundles melancholy with new elements found on the dark side of kitsch.

Lovely sound our Ben has here with fat compressed drums over lush
acoustic guitar riffs in a Turkish, Pakistan fashion. Overall a very
original result by applying said compression to all the drum tracks.
It's deep stuff but not too scary. It definitely has a very serious
edge to it making this CD stand out in sound from the others in the
list this month.
