Lets start with what we avoid ~
distortion pedals, digital guitar effects gizmos, synths, strings, pianos, click tracks, digital recording process, meat, alchohol, pot, drugs and all other outside in substances ( after all music is what is supposed to take you higher)
Our sound is a very simple 3 piece - guitar, bass and drums. An old Fender plugged directly into an old tube Marshall (giving nice warm natural distortion/feedback) with booming bass and creative drumming is what we base our sound around. Some tracks have a vintage Vox organ thrown into the mix. Only a Wha Wha pedal along with some vintage analogue guitar effects were used; that too when the song absolutely demanded it.
Our album is trying to capture multiversal emotions in an electronic format, something which we feel only electric guitar can do.
The point is to capture Earth's natural bounty in a sonic format and link it to the light years of Milky Way starry space in an orgasmic experience. Planets and stars experience gravity emotions erotically ... so should muse-ic

In this world of war, violence, social breakdown, obsession with crass celebrity and pornography seemingly infiltrating every aspect of our early 21st century world and consciousness, it is with a breath of fresh air that Prashant Trivedi and his band BeOmega hover somewhere on the fringes of it all. Vaguely reminiscent of Ozric Tentacles, Hawkwind, Jimi Hendrix and a cosmic White Stripes, this band are outside conventionality in every sense. Prashant - who shimmers into view, immaculately dressed and bringing to mind a beautiful Indian prince - transports himself, his amp and guitar and drummer to some of the most beautiful, isolated and mystical parts of the globe, and thereby proceeds to conjure up nature's magic by plugging in and letting rip. In so doing, he gives the listener's brain and soul and eyes a massage...more heartfelt in a real new age and trance sense than much of the valium-mind-numbing new age and trance music around - a genuinely liberating and mind-expanding experience. The freewheeling guitar soundscapes put the long lost art of the erotic back at the very heart of music.
Strange things happen when he appears: eagles perform a dramatic, ritualistic dance in the sky when he plays a spontaneous set on a Pacific coast road, little fish swim happily at his feet in a pool while monkeys chatter in the palm trees above, a delighted, happy audience appear from nowhere at an isolated tyre repair shop on a dusty road in Rajasthan, crop circles appear days later after a performance near Avebury...it's as if being without boundaries and frontiers musically, this allows people and nature to open up and respond in kind. In the world of music, where so much appears to be controlled, contrived and media driven, this approach to releasing the unfettered creative force within, with its direct fusion with Mother Nature, whooshes around the universe, this beautiful earth and the divine parts of the human mind with a refreshing blast of pure, clean, soulful intent.
Many young bands today would do well to listen up to this band...not just the music, but something often quite lacking in bands today - the meaning.
