About me:
Our Purpose is to encourage Black/African Americans and other peoples of color to become active participants in the democratic process; to become members of democratic clubs and organizations; to encourage participation by educating themselves on the relevant issues, voting for or against candidates and issues of interest; participating in democratic precinct, county, state and national conventions; getting involved in political campaigns by donating time, ideas, talent and money to suitable candidates and issues; and, preparing prospective candidates to assume elective and appointive office.
