1977 Dusseldorf / Almanya dogumluyum. 1992'den beri gitar caliyorum. Yildiz Teknik Universitesi Muzik Topluluklari Programi Caz Gitar bolumu mezunuyum. Halen Istanbul Teknik Universitesi, Muzik Ileri Arastirmalar Merkezi'nde (MIAM) muzik teorisi alaninda yuksek lisans egitimime devam ediyorum. Yabani, Anadolu Express, The Joker Blues Band, Anima, Saydam gibi gruplarin gitaristligini yaptim, 2005-2008 arasi Turgut Berkes projesi Karakutu'da gitar caldim. www.karakutu.info adresinden grubun onceki ve simdiki sarkilarini ucretsiz olarak indirebilirsiniz. Halen blues soslu hard rock cover projesi TORK ile Balkanlar ve Çingene halk müzikleri yorumlayan bir grup olan Gayda Istanbul'da caliyorum. Ayrica caz ve ilgili stillerde beste çalismalari yapiyorum. Gitarin solist ya da soliste esdeger oldugu ve/veya dogaclamaya yer veren her tur muzik oncelikli ilgi alanimdir.
I was born in Düsseldorf / Germany, in 1977. I started playing the guitar in 1992. I graduated from Yildiz Technical University Musical Ensembles Programme Jazz Guitar branch and continuing my education at Istanbul Technical University, Center For Advanced Musical Studies (MIAM), where i study a masters programme on music theory. Played in bands including Yabani, Anadolu Express, The Joker Blues Band, Anima and Saydam. Also played in Turgut Berkes' project Karakutu between 2005 and 2008. You can download the songs free of charge from the web adress www.karakutu.info. Right now i play in a bluesy hard rock cover band called TORK and Gayda Istanbul, who plays folk music of The Balkans and Gypsies. Also i'm composing original music in jazz and related styles. My primary preferred styles of music are the ones where the guitar is the main voice, or the equivalent to the main voice, along with the styles that feature improvisation.
