Deep within the meditative cosmos, the intuition of an Israeli practitioner of Chinese medicine brought two talented musicians from opposite universes together. This convergence created Berkobin and Corson, a band with a whole new sound. The music is a prodigal child of a hard rock, alternative, punk, and intellectual orgy.
Paul Berkobin and Bob Corson have spent the last 3 years tucked away in a clandestine studio located within the junction of the Appalachian and Allegheny mountain ranges. This amalgamation could have only come from the cosmos, as these artists come from completely different worlds.
Paul is a modern day renaissance man; his early days spent jetting between his home in the US and his childhood playground of Southern France, with side trips to the islands sprinkled in for good measure. As a youth, Paul absorbed the varied cultures around him and integrated them into the passionate, driven person he is today. His laid back personal style belies the musical dervish dwelling within. In the studio and on the stage, that dervish is unleashed on the listener and draws us all into his world…a world of screaming guitars, pounding drums, and profound lyrics to guide you.
Bob is the guru, the historian, a man with a musical background so extensive it can instantly create Bob-envy. Bob is a master musician, singer/songwriter, arranger etc... whose experience runs broad and deep. His warrior nature adds a layer of intensity to the sound ,that is evident in each song. An as you journey with Bob into the world of music, free your emotions, an soar to new heights of musical pleasure.
Nurtured in music by his old world grandparents who raised him, Bob seems to have been pre-ordained for the musical road he has traveled. He has worked his magic with scores of musicians from his town, his state, his country, and the world. He has been sought out as a studio musician, an after session player, and has been the driving force in unlimited live jams. Watching Bob with his guitar is witnessing a living work of art; art that he freely shares with those open to the experience.
So it is with this uniting of old and new in a changing world, in a changing industry, that Berkobin and Corson emerge and unlease a sound that will change the homogenous concept that presently exists in the world of rock.
While both of our principals are dripping with talent, they could not do this alone. The stars must have been perfectly aligned as they sent their request for help out into the cosmos.
