The Bermuda Lacrosse Association recently hosted the annual Bermuda Tri-Nations tournament here on the rock. Local expats representing Canada and the US took on local Bermudians in a full day of lacrosse action.
Canada won the first match against Bermy, which led the talented Bermuda squad to a matchup with the powerful US.
After their victory, the US played a hard fought championship match against the storied Canadian team. Unlike the 2006 World Championships, however, the US prevailed to take their second straight Tri-Nations tournament.
The BLA hosted a BBQ after the game and the partying went on well into the night. It was a great success and we are looking forward to the next tournament.

The Bermuda Lacrosse Team plays Sunday's at Lower Gym Field across from the National Sports Centre and below Cedarbridge Academy. We play at 10:00am and have extra equipment if you are interested in coming out.
