Sounds Like
"An exceptionally fine songwriter, and the beautiful, emotive quality of her singing carries the songs to perfection...thoughtful, heartfelt, poetic and moving.", Ian Gulley (GwerinAberFolk).

“Bernadette O'Grady is a singer-songwriter from Ireland, who now lives in Wales. She began performing and writing songs, whilst living in New York, influenced at the time by both Irish and American artists. Her material ranges from contemporary storytelling songs to more reflective and soulful songs, performed with honest emotion. Bernadette gave a highly entertaining interview, and beautiful live performance, on The Evening Show (BBC Radio Wales). Her own song 'Dead Man's Shoes' and her delightful cover version of Bob Dylan's 'Don't Think Twice' have also received airplay on the show. Other live performances have included playing at Aberystwyth Arts Centre; Tenby Folk Festival; and The Halo, London. One of her songs is featured in the new independent Irish film, JAM, which will be shown on Ulster Television (UTV) later this year. Bernadette's new five-song EP, “The Heart of the Matter”, will be released in July.”, Rob Tiernan (RT Productions).
