First off, my name is Bernadette Pauley. I'm from Revere Massachusetts. I went to Revere High School, so I can't spell. My dad's a cabdriver and my mother is a Union Steward/telephone operator. They are slightly out of their minds, but they did a much better job raising me than those Hilton people did with their kids. I went to Emerson College and did a junior year in Lugano, Switzerland, so if I have to I can blend in with white collar people quite nicely. I've had every crappy job on the planet including: Payless shoestore, Wonderland Dogtrack waitress, bathroom attendant, New York City waitress (that one is by FAR worst), Cigarette Girl, Supermarket Cashier and a few more that stink so bad I think I've blocked them out. The only FABULOUS job I ever had (besides standup) is I was a dogwalker here in NYC. I LOVED it and LOVED all my dogs so much but had to give it up when I got too busy with standup. I still keep in touch with the dogs I used to walk and try to visit them at the park when I can. Where was I? Oh yeah, feel free to add me as a friend and keep in touch if you are a nerd, akward person, freak, fruit, jock, underdog, nice person, enraged, happy, sad, delighted, depressed, confused, misunderstood etc. In the meantime I'm doing TONS of great gigs throughout the Northeast so if you're up for it check out my schedule and come to one if you're in the area...COLLEGE TOUR COLLEGE TOUR COLLEGE TOUR!!! Some of my favorite places: WESLEYAN COLLEGE in Owensboro, Kentucky - - I LOVE YOU GUYS. HIGH POINT UNIVERSITY was quite a High Point in my career, not to mention the best orientation crowd I've ever met. I can't wait to get my own dog. Right now it's hard because I travel so much but I may get a little shitkicker I can take with me. I wouldn't buy one, too many need homes. I'd adopt one that needs one. I'm so grateful to be doing what I love, StandUp, for a living. I perform at colleges, universities and comedy clubs all over the country. My home base is New York City. My last few TV gigs were: WILD 100 for ANIMAL PLANET, TLC'S TRADING SPACES (recap episodes) & COMICS UNLEASHED w/ Byron Allen. I'm currently on ANIMAL PLANET'S "A-LIST" Fridays @ 9:00 p.m. You may also recognize me from TOUGH CROWD WITH COLIN QUINN. I had a few great shows and one shitty one. I was thrown off by the bad energy coming from an overrated douchebag who was on the show. The other 2 people were great, but I let a little bitch boy throw me off. That's o.k, this business is all about not letting the assholes get to you. I guess that's what life is about actually... I really like nice people, akward people, freaks and geeks. Nasty, mean people suck. I'm working on my T-shirt line to sell after my shows. I'm very excited about it because it's going to be a great line of really funny T-shirts. That's it for now.
