About me:

You cannot describe yourself simply by saying, "I'm me." Here's how I go about it. I'm laid-back, take it easy, good ol' Southern boy from Alabama. I like hunting and fishing, bond fires, drinking beer, heavy metal and country music among other things. I'm often compared to Slingblade for some of my mannerisms and my deep Southern drawl. I love suprising the hell out of people when I show I can carry on conversations about politics and religion ( though I'd like to avoid those topics in a social setting if possible). I have many friends, 4 damn good friends I consider like family, and the blood family I was born to that makes me feel alive when I'm around them. And all this is just for starters.     I watch the Anime's of the mangas that you recommended. Which is to say I still kinda read them becuase I only do subtitles!! I'm stupid into Bleach right now. I don't know I just like it. I've read the Dragon Lance books. You know that indian guy that appeared with the chic? I read his book too. Oh yeah, I'm a completionist! As far as comics go I'm working on keeping up with Fable. It's about fairy tale peoples in the real world. Good read. I've read Micheal Criton's stuff (Jurrasic Park, Andromeda Strain, etc. . .). Do you like scifi?  I recommend Neil Stepheson. He's total tits. Read Snow Crash. You'll be aching for a movie after you read it. For fantasy I do Neil Gaiman. He's much hyped but he totally deserves all the praise he gets. His books are all very good (Neverwhere is my fave followed by Good Omens which he did with Terry Pratchet) but his comic series The Sandman is like classic stuff. Pick it up if you haven't already. I"m going to be honest, I wasn't in to the first volume, it was a little slow but then it got way better. Oh and The Preacher is also good.

    Oh I read all kinds of things. I was big into Dean Koontz for a while but now I just pick up whatever. The last book I finished was Breathers: A Zombie's Lamnet. That was super good. I also just went to see Zombieland. Which was also super good. Although they terrify me, apprently anything involving zombies = win for me. What else do you read?

    Eyes of the Dragon is completly underated! It's one of my favorites as well. I also like Insomnia, Desperation/The Regulaters (they were kinda the same book but oh so diffrent!). The Talisman is classic but I didn't like Black House. I know he was trying to wrap up the story but it just felt so forced. I don't know, it just wasnt as good. I also liked Everything's Eventual. His short stories are always really good. Don't worry about taking a while, it happens :) Did you read any of those?
