Biography
The haunting, martial and almost primeval beat that begins BerserkerfoX’s first cut from their debut record, "History.Altar.Ashes" intertwines with a guitar melody that rises like smoke before a stone-like riff plummets sharply, with malicious intent as a snarl rips through one’s skull like a chainsaw – it is this forward-thinking mentality that has won them legions of dedicated fans not only in their home town of Melbourne, Australia, but acclaim from critics and punters alike from all over the country and the world.
666metal.com in the US called their songs “A fiery masala of raucous and catchy melodic death metal licks.” Leading Australian metal webzine Metal As Fuck.net spruiked them as "a future big name within the Australian metal scene” with fellow Aussies at The Metal Forge.com declaring their melodic prowess and thrashy power a “winning combination.” The glowing reports are a product of their workmanlike approach to their craft.
As a testament to their never-say-die attitude, they were signed to Ovis Records in late 2009, an independent label based in Norway with a penchant for underground music. The FoX have released two EPs and an album, all the while manning their own merchandise desks at their many gigs, meticulously recording and producing their debut record in amongst traveling all over Melbourne to play to enraptured which bang their heads with glee at their all-devouring approach to metal – a pinch of the classic sound melded with the blunt-edge force of modern death and thrash metal – a crowd pleasing amalgamation if there ever was one. Topped off with live performances that metalheads drive hours to see, BerserkerfoX are indeed one of the premier death metal bands to be seen emerging out of Down Under for a very long time.

Reviews
Berserkerfox's style is much more raw and intense, like older Soilwork and At the Gates. If chugging guitar melodies and semi-fancy solos are what fans are looking for, then this is probably worth picking up.
-Colin McNamara / The MetalForge.com
This is a very good release, and a worthy edition to any metal fans collection. These blokes have worked hard both on this release and their touring schedule, and it shows with the quality of work on offer here. This is not just nine songs for the sake of filling up a CD.
-Noel Mollison / MetalObsession.net
From the cool album art, to the focused and tight song writing, BerserkerfoX has put their stamp on the melodic death metal brand. 3/5
-Erich / Metal-Rules.com
It’s not too often you come across bands that are as productive as these guys, when you do, the bands usually gets over productive and worn out. That is not the case with BerserkerfoX... 6.5/10

Previous reviews of King Kong on Crack (EP) 2009
A fiery masala of raucous and catchy melodic death metal licks melded with piledriving thrash rhythms from Australia. Berserkerfox might not look scene but they will kick your arse...
-Harm.us/666Metal.com
Even though they're only sporting a pack of unmixed demos and things thus far, BerserkerfoX are definitely onto a winning bludgeon of blunt-edged metal and promising ferocity...
-Toby McCasker / The Metalocalypse (Beat magazine)
For a promo - this is great work. The sound can be best described as some sort of Melodic Death Metal, played in their own unique way. Overall rating 8/10
-The JesterHead / Ultimate Guitar.com
I'd like to see where this band is going. The talent is there, they have great song ideas, and it can only get better from this debut EP.
-Jourdaine Middleton / Examiner.com
BerserkerfoX seems to be on the right track. With the right amount of exposure, a solid amount of touring and a dedicated record label, this band could become a big name within the Australian metal scene - so my advice is to keep your ears to the ground and your eyes peeled.
-Angel Of Betrayal / MetalAsFuck.net
There's a tenacious spunk in their step that makes this three-track tease a worthy flirtation for melodic death fiends...and melodic death fiends only.
-Jordan Campbell / MetalReview.com
BerserkerfoX’s style and sound comes across as not only unique, but upbeat and catchy as well. It's definitely a winning combination and is a promising sign for the future of the band..
-Natalie Perez / The Metal Forge
Berserkerfox use dynamics well and the guitar-playing is a stand-out. The forthcoming album promises to be something worth checking out - 6.5.
-Goreripper / PyroMusic.net
The EP consists of only three songs, and I'm already looking forward to hearing more from this gang. Make note of the name "BerserkerfoX"! - 8/10
