Good Question....You tell me....Some of the songs have a fun lovin' feel, ala Jimmy Buffett, others have a pop rock feel and a touch of the blues. There's a good mixture of styles, in my opinion, to make it interesting.
Who are you? A singer/songwriter from Arizona.
What do you play? "southwestern rock and roll", alternative country, blues and a little jazz.
Where are you from originally? Atlanta, Ga. I was born in Tucson. I attended the University of Georgia and then transferred to NAU in Flagstaff, AZ. I have been in Arizona since then except for 10 years I spent in Nashville. Besides being a musician, I teach music at a charter school in Tucson and do a variety of other jobs to "afford" to play music with my group "Toucan Eddy".
What are your main concerns? The war. Global warming. Poverty. We seem to fight all the wrong battles. I'm really concerned about the planet our kids are going to inherit. We've done a good job of screwing it up for them.
What are your interests other than music? Fishing. I love to trout fish. I also like to fish in the ocean because you never know what you're gonna catch. I like to camp in the desert. That's where I write a lot of my songs. I also like to shoot pool and play golf. Motorcycles and sports cars are also a passion.
Tell us about your family? My wife is named Anna. She is very sweet and also a teacher. My step daughter Roxanne just graduated from Arizona State University and wants to have a career in the resort/travel industry. I also have 2 children, Ariel and Maxwell from my previous marriage to Alexis. Ariel is 20 and going to the University of Arizona and wants to be a photo journalist. She took the photo on the back cover on my CD. Max is 17 and the other musician in the family. He is tremendously talented. I just told him the music business ain't easy so get an education along the way.
Peace and Love....BC
