About me:
Music-addict since I'm 7 years old (surely due to the fact that my fathers are music lovers ; my father is a jazz and blues fan and my mother like folk , protest songs and some alternative rock ; all that let deep inprint on me !!!)
Kid I learn music , touching flute , guitar , bass guitar and finally drum (the instrument most played of all ...)
I begin to make turntables turn around 13 for party's , birthday , playing some reggae , rock , ska , punk ,...
At 15 , discovering funk and free jazz with Defunkt live on stage ... It was like one of the revelation of my f*****g life !!!After the funk came the first Hip-Hop pionneers and since that time I'm never go back from that kind of music !
At the end of the 80's , came the electronic music , totally allergic to the new beat movement born in Belgium , I "fall" house and techno addict after the first set of Derrick May in Brussels ! Organisator of a few events in Belgium from 92 'till 2004 and co-organisator and producer of an electronic festival in the south of Spain (Calahonda : Rave Energy in august 97 with a record label from the area (100 % professional)) some got bad memories about it ...
Found in love with jungle , drum & bass in 95 after one Grooverider set , and due to the "evolution" in house and techno at this time ; I am going back "to my first love" never forgeted ... mixing soul , funk, latin-jazz , hip-hop , jungle and drum and bass (or electro , tech-house too) ......
I'm never go "on top" of anything and I don't give a damn about it , my purposes are just to discover and make the people discovering , share and feel about some good music ...

Fanatico de musica desde mi juventud (mis padres me ayudaron bastante en esto :un padre fanatico de blues y jazz , una madre de folk , protest songs y algo de rock alternativo ; eso deja huellas !!! )
Niño aprendi algo de solfegio segui practicando:flauta, guitarra, percusiones para terminar con la batteria (que fue el mas practicado ... )
Empeze a girar platos por cumples y otras fiestas de amigos desde los 13 (reggae , rock , punk , ska , ...)
A los 15 descubri el funk y el free jazz en un concierto de Defunkt .Fué una de las révélaciones musicales de mi vida ! Seguida muy rapido por los primeros "pioneros" del hip-hop desd'entonces no me hé movido de este typo de musica !
A final de los 80's llego el corriente electronico (al principio era totalmente allergico a este typo de musica(practicaba todavia batteria entonces y la "New Beat" belga me daba nauséas ... )
Al descubrir la house y el acid de Chicago y luego la techno de Detroit (la primera vez que Derrick May pincho en Brusselas !!!) accabé metido hasta el cuello en ella :montando fiestas desde 92 hasta el 2004 principalmente en Belgica excepcion echa de un festival en Calahonda (Granada) en el 97 : "Rave Energy" co-producido con un label de la région (algunos tendran malos recuerdos de aquello ...).
En el 94 -95 descubri la jungle y la drum& bass en un live de grooverider (nueva révélacion !!! ) y
a ver como "évoluaba" la tech-house ; volvi a mis "primeros amores" (nunca abandonados) soul, funk, jazz, hip-hop añadiendo la drum & bass ...
Lo malo es ... que nunca llegare (y ménos ahora con mis años) a la rodilla de los artistas que mas me gustan .. pero me importa un pepino, no es lo que busco, me gusta descubrir, hacer descubrir y compartir mi passion con otro(a)s y ...hasta !

Too late for many of those I would like to know (like Miles Davis, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Frank Zappa, Serge Gainsbourg, Joe Strummer, Art Blakey, Sun Ra, James Brown,... (at least I'll see them all live on stage !); those I've missed : Jimy Hendrix, Fela Kuti, Nina Simone, Ray Charles, Barry White, Zapp, Bernard Edwards, JayDee, Jay Master Jay, Big L, Notorious Big, Tupac, ...........; Too many to be mentionned ...
But gladdely , there is allways a lot to know like those you could found in "my friends " ...

Demasiado tarde por muchos de los que quisiera conocer (como Miles Davis, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Frank Zappa, Serge Gainsbourg, Joe Strummer, Art Blakey, Sun Ra, James Brown,... (por lo menos los vi en directo!) los que me perdi: Jimy Hendrix Fela Kuti, Nina Simone, Ray Charles, Barry White, Zapp, Bernard Edwards, JayDee, Jay Master Jay, Big L, Notorious Big, Tupac, ...........; pero menos mal que quedan ahun montones por conocer : los que encontrareis en mis "amigos" por ejemplo ...
