Bert Jerred is a singer/songwriter from Upstate New York. Since 2002, when he began experimenting with songwriting and home recording, Bert has released several hundred original songs for free under Creative Commons licenses, primarily through Jamendo.com. Bert's music can also be licensed through Jamendo and other music services. Bert holds a BA and MA in English Literature from SUNY Oswego and has worked as an educator since 1997. In addition to writing and singing original lyrics, Jerred plays (or programs) all instruments and provides his own backup vocals.
