About me: Dj Matt Cornwall has been a venerable fixture of many eclectic and diverse DJ and overall music cultural phenomena and scenes in Los Angeles for the past 13 years. His style is a cogent concoction of pretty much anything and everything under the musical kitchen sink, or basically, whatever is vital, real, good and really good. With over 50,000 songs in his collection, raging anywhere from vintage jazz to top 40, funk and soul, lounge, 60’s 70’s 80’s 90’s, disco, electronic, rock, house, club, salsa, latin, oldies, country,big band and swing, hip hop, pop and his own mixes, Matt can intuit and tailor any party’s specific needs to keep the party rockin, OR just chillin. In addition to working with some of LA’s top club promoters, and in clubs tooo numerous to mention, he currently has residencies at the W hotel (New York, Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles) the Standard downtown, and is half of the dj production/remix project known as “bro-energy.”
