Une fois de plus, bien que mes ongles soient
rongés, bien que la fatigue pointe, je m’échine à m’enrager,
retrouvant, dans les yeux d’un enfant de deux ans, la fragilité de
l’existence.
Les malheurs nous viennent en cohortes, clouant
nos viscères ; démembrant sans s’encombrer nos fétus d’espérances ;
s’ingéniant à poursuivre, jusque dans le sommeil, nos désillusions.
Nous soliloquons, perclus, sans ligne à atteindre ; sans trouver, sous nos pas, la terre vierge où s’affranchir.
Nos
peaux s’agglutinent et se frôlent mais la solitude nous engonce, nous
tire vers le renoncement et nous soumet à nos habitudes.
Le
temps où nous rêvions haut, où les citadelles n’étaient pas hantées par
les spectres de nos désolations, ce temps-là est encore à portée de
mains si l’on consent, presque sans désespoir, à naître pour mourir.
Car malgré cette amertume, le ventre de nos femmes continue de s’arrondir et la vie, bouillonnante et désordonnée, fourmille.
Qui peut alors dire : « Cela ne m’appartient pas. » ?
Sans présumer de l’entaille, il nous faut manier l’aiguillon sans relâche, titillant au cœur de notre genre l’espoir fainéant.
Ah ! Oui ! Vraiment ! Tendre nos nerfs à déceler, dans l’amas de déchirures et de plaies, l’éclat de beauté qui nous pousse !
