About me: I love reading--anything from cereal boxes to whatever would be the opposite of a cereal box... I am an excellent cook, and believe in the use of real butter, whole milk, and lots of other things we aren't supposed to eat anymore. I have some kids, I am pretty sure they are mine. But they look more like my roommate in college, who is also my cousin. And my other best friend. But she hates myspace. Steven is my first best friend. He lives with me. We cook together sometimes. We got to go to the symphony to hear a live performance of St. Matthew Passion. It was time well spent. There were three different choirs. My brother and his girlfriend went with us, but I made him invite another girl so Steven wouldn't think it was a date. Because I am shy. I know, that isn't a sentence. We used to live in Aiken, near a state park dedicated to a sprouting cypress stump. But Aiken had a beautiful library. I love libraries. My other best friend, Beth, who I mentioned before, is a librarian. Well, almost, she is the head of Gov Docs at a local university. I used to work in Gov Docs, it is the most boring section of books and articles in the entire world. I had to sort microfiche about the mating habits of iguanas in the Galapagos Islands. I don't much like iguanas. I went on a cruise with Steven once and we saw some. They looked mean. Like this guy I know named Chappie. Well, I don't really know him, but he was mean to me once. I probably deserved it though, because I am mean a lot. I used to thrive on it actually. But it is not the way I want to be anymore...and I hope I am becoming more sanctified in that area. I would like to be sanctified. But I am constantly sinning because I am wicked to my very core. I would like for that not to be the case. I pray a lot, I read my Bible, hoping I will be sanctified yet. It will be heaven to be shed of this dreadful flesh on that day.

Hey, nice pic...which one is this? I have a family reunion Saturday and have several obligations (search committee that i shamelessly went off and became chair of; lesson for our teens that i gave tonight) but won't have to teach every wednesday night...got maybe a month until next time.
