Bestial Reviler (BR) goes back to 2003, when Shamil (Shmel) Yapparov with the guys from his institute and good old friend Dimitry Fender decided that they should play music because they had guitars, they had beer and the will to spend some time playing metal. Until 2006, all activities were limited to periodic parties with guitars when sometimes they recorded some material with the help of a synthesizer, guitar and Shmel’s vo(mit)cals. But all the guys dragged the band in different directions and could not decide what to play. Recordings made during that period ranged from gore-grind to epic heavy ... Finally in 2006 Shmel decided to take all management into his own hands. Being already a thrash maniac, he decided that this was the music he wanted to play. But the idea met obstacles in the face of lack of musicians willing to support this idea. After wasting some time searching for thrashers, he decided to experiment on his own and began to write material at the junction of hardcore punk, grind and crossover-thrash. Seven songs were composed. Together with Fender the songs were recorded on a home PC plus a Discharge cover has also been recorded. The project was called Unbridled Anger back than. Next, the two most stubborn heros of this epic legend had the luck to face drummer Rodion who was the drummer in a Moscow punk group Urban Chaos. Shmel and Fender spent nearly a year with him. There was no bass-player. After an alternative-metal fan from the police academy called and offered his services, being the fifth bassist who was declined, Shmel, despaired and pissed off, decided to take the bass himself. But the musical eclecticism Unbridled Anger represented was the end of the band. Rodion was kicked out for the stubborn desire to insert elements of New York hardcore. Left again without a drummer in early 2007 Shmel made an important decision. He decided to return to what he really wanted to do and decided to play thrash metal at any cost. Surprisingly, Fender decided to lay down the axe and got behind the drums. Now the search for a guitarist began, which also took a rather long period of time. The new band was called Reviler, a name which reflected the essence and the idea of the band. Under the title Reviler in May 2007 the band replaced two guitarists, one of which played on just two rehearsals. Finally, in October the group found Pavel, and the line-up stabilized. At the same time the name was changed due to the fact that in Brazil a band called Reviler was discovered (awesome band by the way!!!!) The title was simply modified by the word Bestial at the beginning. So at this time the line-up is:
Pavel (MAULER) Sorokin - Guitar
Dimitry (of-FENDER) Lushin - drums.
Shamil (Shmel aka MISOTHEIST) Yapparov - bass guitar, vocals.
We call ourselves a thrash-band, but we embrace influences of Old-school Black, death, speed and punk. We love fast evil straightforward metal, that doesn't sound plastic and digital. That is why we do what we do. Fuck governments, fuck religion, fuck the police, fuck trendies, fuck posers, FUCK MODERN METAL!!! FUCK YOU ALL! Thrash til Death!
