beta.beta was formed in the summer of 2007 out of pure coincidence when parixit walked into the teashop that adelin was working at, and asked if she'd like to sing. she'd never been in a band before, and parixit was at that point without a project.
a pow-wow over ice cream and monster mix later led to the inception of beta.beta, a blend of sexy, wistful, fun, electronic beats and sounds mixed with parixit & adelin's mutual desire for creating music you can escape to.

well, it's been months and i just wanted to poke my head in and say hello. i constantly have the album on rotation and included "Hello Hello Over And Out" in a mixtape [funny how i still call them that] that I made for my friend.
hope all is well in your lives and the day jobs are still there. im going to be 21 next month so maybe seeing you locally sometime in NYC or Jersey will actually be possible as soon as I take a plane over there from Los Angeles.

i just wanted to see what was up with you guys and if you had a full length in store anytime soon. Not that the Hello EP wasn't good enough, just that I thought it was an EP and something would evolve from it. i constantly have it on rotation and love hearing your stuff. hope to hear from you lovely friends soon.

I'm not saying that you guys have to pirate it, but I sure as hell am going to buy it when it comes out and I just couldn't wait to hear it. So you should look for it if you guys wanted or I could send you a ZIP folder. :D
i would so love to be at one, and i was talking to my friends the other day about how "man, i need to fly to jersey city, just to visit and hopefully catch beta.beta".
you guys posted that flyer last minute though, in all honesty, if i go to see you guys, i'd have to know at least a month in advance when you were playing. airfare and all, but i'd love it. and did i mention i'm only 20? i've noticed you mostly play 21+, a real bummer.
however, tonight I saw a Cure cover band in the Los Angeles area. they were playing a 21+ club, but I managed to sneak in through the backdoor for their second set. had a blast.
in all honesty, you guys were a major reason for me to come back to MySpace. Because I realized you just don't check your Facebook page as much as I'd like, and then you're also on Last.fm, and on some other site. I'm internet stalking you, but at the same time, it's good to know you'll always be here.
You won't believe how much I've been listening to you guys lately, put you guys on my phone and just hearing you at work and during breaks. Very peaceful songs like 14th Street Station but then you have some danceable tunes.
