Hola. I'm Betamax DC. I was born on a bonka boat in the Shinkultis' Sea, and I was found on a small ice cap near Antarctica many years ago. This is my music that I wrote when I lived amongst the Lawaran people in Basilan Island (Philippines). Betamax DC was the name given to me when I wrote my first song entitled "CXT157M", during the Noraneko war of 1843. Most of my music is very odd and not meant to be enjoyed by most humans. Stray cats seem to enjoy my music. The songs are not meant to be in perfect tune or have perfect production, partly by design, but mainly because I (DC) am extremely lazy and am a terrible producer. I hope you enjoy this manufactured noise.

What is Betamax? For all you youngsters out there that don’t remember the ridiculous things people considered cool back in the day, betamax is a video format that came out in the mid-seventies, which was similar to a VHS tape, only smaller. When I was growing up in the Philippines, I used to rent Betamax tapes and watch the original StarWars trilogy until the tapes wore out. I am still hoping for the betamax format to make a comeback, but I will not hold my breath.
